That\u2019s all changed. Today, businesses hear customer feedback in high-definition surround sound \u2014 via the phone, live chat, email, Facebook, Twitter, blog comments, good old-fashioned letters, and yes, YouTube videos. Who can forget the \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5YGc4zOqozo\" target=\"_blank\">United Breaks Guitars<\/a>\u201d video, which is now up to over 12.6 million views!<\/p>\n<p>Not only is it nice to listen to and respond to your customers, it\u2019s good business. In the December <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.123print.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/123Print-Customer-Service-Infographic1.jpg\">\u201cHear Ye, Hear Ye\u201d infographic<\/a>, it points out that nine out of 10 people are more likely to purchase from a company after having a good customer service experience. It also states that 18% of people refuse to do business with a company that provides poor service. You can see where this is going.<\/p>\n<p>Having access to your customers\u2019 input from social networks as well as more traditional venues gives businesses all kinds of advantages. Customer feedback can help you:<br \/>\n&#8211; Improve your existing product or service<br \/>\n&#8211; Develop new products or services<br \/>\n&#8211; Answer other customers\u2019 questions<br \/>\n&#8211; Provide new web or blog content<br \/>\n&#8211; Create new sales collateral<br \/>\n&#8211; Enhance manuals or training materials<\/p>\n<p>And the list goes on and on.
