It\u2019s the most wonderful time of the year! No. Not the winter holidays where families get together, laugh, eat, be merry, and give each other gifts. No no. This is better. It\u2019s the time of year where parents put their children in ridiculous (maybe awesome\u2026) costumes for Halloween<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m not a parent, but a lot of my friends are, and it seems to me that the younger the child is the bigger the advantage is to the parent. This is the parents\u2019 time to dress their child up in ridiculous costumes because they are \u201ccute,\u201d and the child can\u2019t do a freakin\u2019 thing about it.<\/p>\n

Most of the time you see babies dressed as cute animals or some type of vegetable. There\u2019s the typical costume where a baby is a pea in a pod. There\u2019s the baby dressed as a tiny Dracula or a monkey. Forget those ideas this Halloween. Take advantage of the fact that your child is too young to make decisions of their own and put them in something crazy. For example:<\/p>\n

Yes, this falls into the category of the \u201cbaby dressed as a cute animal,\u201d but take advantage of the fact that your child is barely mobile. Extra points are awarded if you admit to laughing when your baby rolls over (in this costume), flails and it reminds you of a stranded turtle.<\/p>\n

What can you even say about this kid? This is just the cutest little delivery guy I\u2019ve ever seen, and I imagine the cost of the costume is pretty minimal. Let this be a lesson to us, being creative doesn\u2019t have to break the bank.<\/p>\n

Forget that this baby doesn\u2019t look very happy to be dressed as an obese human figure made of marshmallows, look how cute! Now, I have to be honest for a second. While absolutely adorable, this is a prime example of dressing one\u2019s child up to amuse the adults. Other kids may not even realize what this baby is supposed to be \u2013 but anyone that has ever heard of Ghostbusters<\/em> will know immediately what this adorable child is supposed to be.<\/p>\n

First and foremost, I am definitely not trying to offend anyone or indorse any type of underage drinking. This is simply on the list because it\u2019s creative and the baby is wearing a mustache. Nothing more, nothing less. Again, this is probably one of the least expensive Halloween costumes you can put your baby into, because surely you have a baby bow-tie and suspenders lying around somewhere. Plus, it\u2019d also be really funny if your kid was trying to walk and constantly was stumbling around while dressed like this. Getting into character, that\u2019s all! This costume just happens to be called \u201cPimp Baby.\u201d You could easily say he\u2019s just fashionably dressed and enjoys a good ole fashioned American dollar.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0think Star Trek gets overlooked a lot when it comes to Halloween costumes. Most people would opt to dress their kid up as Yoda from Star Wars before ever thinking of dressing their kid up as half-Vulcan. Your kid could then threaten to use the Vulcan death grip if someone drops Milk Duds or pennies into their pillow case on Halloween night.<\/p>\n

Whatever you decide to dress your child up as this Halloween, just make sure they have fun and are comfortable in said costume. The last thing you want is your child screaming about his Vulcan ears hurting while you\u2019re trying to encourage them to grab the Reese Cups someone is offering and not the Mary Janes.<\/p>\n
