19 Uses for Labels during the Holidays

I love labels. And that’s NOT just because I work at a company that prints then. Labels, whether they be address labels, product labels, gift tag labels, etc. are some of the most versatile products I’ve ever used. The span of their use has come a long way from sticking them all over myself … and my sister … and my brother … when we were kids. With the holidays coming up, now is the perfect time to put your thinking cap on and figure out ways to be creative. Check out 19 unique and creative uses for labels this Holiday season!

  • Use them as gift tags
  • Put them on your Christmas Cookie baggies you give away to friends and family
  • Use them to label bottles (maybe your home-brewed cider you whip up just for the holidays?)
  • Use them as holiday gift “to and from” labels
  • Use them to label your holidays guests’ leftovers
  • Use them to put witty quotes on your more quirky gifts
  • Help Santa out by labeling his gifts
  • Label your Holiday food spread to let your guests know which dish is what! Or who’s!
  • Do you have a friend that bakes? Make them their own customized labels to give as a present, they’ll love it.
  • Label food you send your kids to school with to give out to their class. For example, if your homemade cookies contain peanuts.
  • Label your pantry jars so that no one will ever again mix up the salt and the sugar
  • Print out tips and tricks to include in gift baskets! Nifty handheld reminder sheets can always come in handy.
  • Create and label party boxes for New Years complete with streamers, whistles, beads and maybe even an individually-sized sparkling cider!
  • Package and label hot cocoa mixes to give as gifts
  • Package and label your favorite cookie recipes to give as gifts
  • Providing a cooler of drinks during your Holiday party? Label the tops of your bottles so your guests won’t have to go digging through the ice.
  • Label your spices
  • Put together a gift basket and use matching labels for each component — the end result is awesome!
  • Last but not least, don’t forget to stick a return address label on your Christmas Cards!
