Your Business Was Here: Mark Your Territory with Guerilla Marketing Tools

Efficient guerilla marketing can help make your small business a household name. Send that potential new client out of your office with everything from branded post-it notes to your business cards and magnetic fliers, and all of a sudden — like a bad one-hit wonder — they can’t get you out of their head. That’s exactly what you want.

Your workplace should be chockfull of quality branded materials that you can hand out to current and potential clients alike so that they’ll remember your small business when the time comes that they need your services. Here’s what you need to mark some new territory now.

Get mugged! In a good way… Create a personalized business mug with 123Prints’s super-savvy online tools, or work with the design team who can do it for you. My personal favorite: the mustache mugs, which you can customize with your logo and more. Customers will love to take this quirky, themed coffee mug to their own office where it’s a surefire viral conversation starter … ahem, more potential customers!

Now they’re stuck on you. Promote your upcoming events, auctions, galas and sales with Promo Magnets. While there’s certainly nothing wrong with an attractive marketing flyer, either, promotional magnets are definitely a premium product that will make your brand stick. Instead of ending up in a paper pile at your customer’s home, it’ll end up on the fridge, where your business’ name will be front and center every day.

Keep them coming back. Not only do customer loyalty cards allow you to identify who your clients are and what they’re buying, but they also make the customer feel valued and give them an incentive to return! Take a cue from big-box stores who do an excellent job with these (theirs are often scannable), like Kroger or CVS, and ask customers if they already have one (and if not, give them one) whenever they purchase your product or services. It’ll get their foot back in the door sooner rather than later.

Review your basics. Have you been chugging along with the same business cards for years now? It may be time to refresh the design to speak to today’s clientele. We have tons of brand-new business card designs for you to peruse or you can upload your own for free! Plus, you can choose from different formats, like vertical, magnetic, mini and recycled. Before reworking your cards, think not only about your brand but also about the customer who will be receiving these. Will the style appeal to your target demographic?

Hone in on penmanship. Everyone loves a great pen! Stockpile them at your office, bring them with you to marketing events and send them out with mailers. Our Advertising Pens write effortlessly in black ink and come in many colors, or you can upload your own full-color design or your business’ logo — for free! Choose from chrome or black finishing for a modern, sleek look. These are a small yet fundamental piece in your guerilla-marketing tactics.

Make it stick. Just like pens, everyone has a use for Post-It® Notes. Design your own with your business logo and contact information, and give them to customers as a useful office favor. Now clients will “make note” of your company every time they use it!

  • A business could gain new heights of success if it makes the use of the right kind of marketing strategies and online sites is the
most efficient mode of advertisement in recent times.

SEO Elite comes with a guide that is written for absolute beginners but it also covers things that only the most advanced search engine optimizers
know. Even if you've varied content material and brilliantly maneuvered the ability to capture these spots, most customers will assume that there is going to become some duplicate content and will ignore the several listings for your company.

  • The term guerrilla marketing was coined by Jay Conrad Levinson in his 1984 book of the same name. The idea is to use imagination, to intercept the consumer in a memorable and personal way, investing time and energy rather than money. This makes guerrilla marketing ideal for small businesses who can respond to changes in the marketplace quickly and without having to seek permission for every activity from a centralized head office.

  • Offering an award such as a percentage off or a free
product will encourage people to pass them on. Everybody now is well connected due to the existence of the internet and the users have been increasing enormously on a day to day basis.
Create an identity: The rise of social media has allowed companies to connect with their customers
    on a deeper level.
